CB mounting location?

Where do you guys have your CB unit mounted? I was thinking of the top glove box. Thoughts?

I have a small cobra unit that is wedged between my drivers seat and center console.

I have the same, the 75 i think. Whole unit is in the mic. I've currently got the remote mount box under the drivers seat. Then the coax runs back to the rear just under the floor matt, under the rear seats, etc.

Biggest question should be where is the best place to mount an antenna and what is the best antenna that will give me the best range?

I'm using a 3' Firestik. Works well enough. So much crap on the waves these days, cb can be frustrating.

But for trail rides and working within a few miles with a nice high squelch... these work well.
