cushion adjust knob

Would you know how to remove the cushion adjust knob from the seat switch of a 1997 land rover discovery 1? Thanks.

Cushion adjust knob? can you describe this or show a picture?

This is where you adjust the cushion and move the seat backward or forward. It is attached to the sides of the center console. I am trying to replace the switch seat cover and I couldn't figure out how to remove the knobs. I will try to attach photos later. thanks.

Ok, that is just a matter of pulling them off if I remember right. You just slowly pull it out making sure not to break the tabs... kind of a pain but you can use a small screwdriver to make sure you pop them out ok.

Then after the assembly is out you just pull the switch tops off and change the switch by removing the screws.
