Deformed steering wheel airbag cover?

Anyone else have a LR3 or RR Sport with a driver's side airbag cover that looks like it was vacuum molded with too much vacuum? Mine seems to show the "frame" under the surface of the cover and the top part of the cover does not seat well.

I noticed the brochure pictures do not have this problem...do you think this is a warranty item?

Ours is the same. I've recall a similar discussion from the past, and believe that it is normal.

My center cover had "warped" from the hot sun and the top part had started to bend upwards. My warranty covered it.

Also, just recently I had my entire steering wheel replaced because the leather on the sides was getting blotchy and cracked. Once again, thanks to the sun. Gotta love Cali!
