Tire shop told me my wheel hub bearing was bad, $795 to do a new one. I looked on line and found the part for $195, is it that hard to change?

As with most tire shops around here, they don't know these cars very well. I'd get a second, and third opinion.

IF I didn't hear a slight noise when I make a left turn I would wonder. They went to do an alignment and it had a slight amount of play. That coupled with the hum makes me think they are right. I am just guessing that since the hub bearing is encased in the hub, it can't be too hard. Tore down Jeeps and Chevys but never the wifes Rover.
