So awhile back my exhaust had gotten bent. Pushed in and almost pinched just behind the rear axle. I have been looking at different ideas and came up with this.
Instead of replacing the pipe and resionator, (which was rusting out anyways) I had my local exhaust shop chop it off and weld on a straight pipe. Had them bend it to fit through this hole I cut in the rear pannel.

Came out pretty nice for 60 bucks and there is really no difference in sound without the resionator. Helps with departure angles abit as well.

Looks good, I have seen this before, and have considered it myself... but I also need to remove my rear step to help with departure angle.

Thanx. Yeah I saw it on Discoweb and decided might as well.

Where does your step mount at? Looking at it, there doesnt seem to be much room for anything there.
