I paid $800 for my Expedition Rack, my service tech buddy sold me one from his personal rig, he threw in a ladder too. Rack needs short rails to install onto.

Took me over a year to find one in that price range.

I took off the top portion so as to have a lower profile.

Thanks! This is what I was after. For some reason I couldn't find your post where you described it. I seem to get different search results depending on the device I'm on.
I knew it was a good deal. I'm struggling to decide where to land. I have extended rails so ideally it'd be nice to find something that used them but all the ones I like require
getting rid of them. I may up my efforts to find one of these out there.
