I purchased a 99 Land Rover to flat tow behind my motor home. I did not have an owners Manual but All searches indicated to put transfer case in neutral & transmission in park leaving key in the first position so steering wheel would remain unlocked

I called two Land Rover dealers and one told me to do as above the other said to put transfer case and transmission in neutral and leave key in the first position.

Anyone know who is correct?
