Greetings drzjoint; It is a common problem. Try this for a quick fix.

1. Remove gas cap.
2. Wash and clean in soapy water.
3. Dry cap completely (hair dryer or other Hi-tec tool).
4. Clean gas filler inlet with damp rag.
5. Dry gas filler inlet with clean dry rag.
6. Spray both cap and filler inlet pipe liberally with a silicone lubicant.
7. Reinstall gas cap.

Worked for me!!!!!! >>>>>>>>>>> Regards,sq.
