I recently joined in the hopes of getting help with the restoration of my 1995 RRC. I'll post a pic for y'all.

To start, I wanted to replace some of the wood trim on the door panels, as well as on the gear shifter, but didn't want to just jump into it. Anyone have any suggestions how to safely remove the door inserts (and gear shift trim) to replace?

Thanks for any help you can give!

Best,
Brian

Welcome to the forum. Door panels best removed with a door panel removal tool... but plan on replacing most of the plastic connectors as they will break or strip.

Hi, Joey...I was curious about the removal of just the wood inserts in the door panels.

Thanks -
