Hello all. Recently picked up a 2015 LR4 HSE. Love the car. Haven't found too many helpful threads on LR4 heated steering wheel failures. So I'm starting a new thread.
Our heated steering wheel stopped working. I've seen many videos on the web showing you how to trouble shoot the heated steering wheel. . .but I'm not sure if the videos for the Range Rovers (slightly older models) would apply to our LR4.
The heated wheel switch lights up like normal. . .and stays light (does not go out unless you operate the switch). This would seem to indicate that the fuse is not blown, and the resistance on the thermister is not out of wack, and that there isn't an own circuit in the heating element. Can the heating element go bad without having a break in it somewhere?
Or is all this wrong because older heated steering wheels and their trouble shooting is not applicable to the LR4.
Thanks,
JonR
