I'm on my 6th LR. Started off with a '96 Discovery 1 SD stick shift, then went to an '00 Range Rover 4.6 HSE. Dismal failure- so I bought a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Didn't work for me, so I bought an '04 Discovery 2 SE7. Then came an '07 Range Rover HSE, followed by an '08 LR3 SE. Now driving this;
She's an '85 90 V8 Station Wagon. I have upgraded to rear disc brakes, new shocks & springs, and next month she's going in to have air con fitted and a mildly hot rodded 3.9 efi installed.
Eventually I'll replace the chassis & bulkhead, and swap it to auto transmission.
