Helo, Helo everybody. Glad to be a new member.
Just bought a 1997 Disco with some minor problems I am eager to fix.
First, I am wondering how I can access the bulbs by the gear shift.
Second, my intermittent on the wiper does not work, though the wiper works fine.
Appreciate your kind comments please.

First welcome to the forum.

Lights are easy, you accually just pry up on the outer plastic ring around the shifter/indicator, and reach down and change the bulbs.

Wiper issue, this is normal. Some say it is the switch (me for one) others say it is the wiper motor...

On the lights, I have already taken the ring off, but it seems to me I have to somehow take the cover with shifts' letters on off to access the lights, isn't it?
And on the wiper, it acts funny, I was driving yesterday and the wiper started to on its own and couldn't be shut off...eventually it shut off by its own!...My guess is the wiper's switch not the motor, so I will work on it and will let everybody know.
