Hey mates my lr3 has dropped all the way ( meaning no shocks ) I have checked the compressor and seems fine. When I turn the lr3 on there is no suspension fault on then there is a noise coming from the passenger side seems to be coming from glove compartment? Anyhow after that noise is finished the suspension code pops up. Does anyone know what it could be.

Haven't heard of this one. Your EAS ECU is in that general vicinity but I don't know what noise it could be making. LHD or RHD?

You'll need to get the fault code read. Any more info you can tell us in terms of what the message center says and what the state of your LR3 is when faulted?

RoverBull, is the noise you're referring to the compressor? Sometimes sounds can be referred throughout the vehicle.

Stick your head under the drivers side (LHD) and see if you hear a humming. That's where the compressor is located. It's absolutely possible that it's running but not pumping air... and when the computer figures out what's going on, it shuts it down.

So I took it to a local European specialist mechanic he said he could do a diagnostic on it and said it was going to be the compressor, or so he says, so he quotes me 1500 to repair it. I was like nope haha I'd rather just order the part my self and install it. So I did, I ordered a compressor on eBay switched it out and nothing my suspension still wouldn't lift. Prior to this I had or should I stay still have a suspension fault on my dash and right when I turn on the lr3 I flip the suspension switch up and it says normal height selected then the humming, it sounds as if it's coming from under the right hand side. Don't know if I bought a bad compressor or if it has to be reset or something. It's driving me nuts trying to find out the cause of this thing.

So it's 7 am and here I am checking the compressor I just put on the lr3 and as I unplug the tube with the blue ring around it, it lets out air. does that mean that the compressor works and eBay didn't rip me off

RovinGreenville how do you know if your compressors not pumping air or how can you check? I want to know just in case I need to return the compressors if there not pumping air as it was guaranteed that they worked

Could you get someone to read the codes? Not with a regular OBD II but a proper reader?
