I'm not sure what happened, but lately I just can't get comfortable in the driver's seat. When I first bought the truck a year ago, it took me a while but I never got it "perfect." Now, 10 minutes in and I have lower back pain. I loved the seats and positioning of my D1, which was a reason I was drawn to the D4, but I can't seem to find the "sweet spot" in the adjustment of the seats. I don't have the LUX seats, either.
So how are you guys sitting? Seat way up? All the way down? In my D1 I had to look "under" the windshield at stoplights if I was first in line, that thing was way upright. Right now, the top of my steering wheel is blocking the top of my gauges in my line of sight as well, so I really think I'm just not set up correctly. I'm 6' 180lbs, I'd say pretty square as far as arm/leg length goes so not some outlying body size and shape. I guess if I really need to I can look into aftermarket seats but I shouldn't have to. I did have the same problem in my old Silverado, but I don't in my wife's VW... so I don't think it's me. In the passenger seat I'm fine, so I think it has something to do with how I am related to the pedals.
