Well, I installed new front/rear Land Rover G4 lamp guards this weekend. Fronts were extremely simple. Anyone can do the fronts. Rears are a bit more time consuming as you have to drill four holes into the body sheetmetal behind the tailight. I have two suggestions regarding the rears.

1.) You don't have to take off the inside metal brackets that attach to the guards everytime as it says in the instructions. You can simply take them off at the truck, not the guard. Leave them on the guard the whole time.

2.) When drilling holes, no matter how careful you know you were, be sure to drill one hole and then install the insert. Then put the mounting bracket back up against the template on the truck where you marked the second hole to drill. Ensure that your marked hole is still centered in relation to the bracket.

With a java black LR3, the G4 guards look pretty good. It certainly give the LR3 a more "purposeful" character. More, not to be triffled with if you will. . .
