looking to buy a 95 Discovery

If anyone could tell me what problems that i could be running into when buying a 95 Discovery with 147700 miles on it, it would be greatly appreciated

Ummmmm......let's see:

(1) Main seal oil leak
(2) Old gaskets in the exhaust and practically everywhere else
(3) Suspension that is shot
(4) Leaking / Failing power steering box
(5) Leaking fuel injectors
(6) Failing fuel pump
(7) Failing oil pump (Front engine cover)
(8) Old spark plugs
(9) Old plug wires
(10) Carbon buildup in valves
(11) Various and sundry electrical glitches
(12) Worn out vehicle speed sensor
(13) Old/worn out oil pan gasket
(14) Clogged oil pickup tube
(15) Worn out brakes
(16) Worn out diff's
(17) Worn out CV's
(18) Worn out bearings (engine and axle)
(19) Worn out oil cooler lines
(20) Clogged radiator core
(21) Old radiator hoses

Anything else anyone can think of?

Maybe some specifics about the potential purchase would help.

If it has sunroof's, they should be leaking by now
Headlight switch going bad
Wiper switch and/or motor going bad
Panhard rod bushings worn out
bushings in general worn out
Window motor issues
Door lock issues
O2 sensors
CATs bad
Transmission/Transfer case getting old
Slipped cylinders
RUST
hmmm I am sure this is more.

Price and the ability to Mod them cheaply. The joys of knowing you drive a Land Rover.

The big thing is you have to find one that has been taken care of, I don't mean babied, I mean maintained.

If you find a well maintained Rover you will have a good vehicle.
