Hi guys,
I have this same problem of flashing *** lights. I have found this flashing light combination indicates the autotrans has gone into a "limp-home" mode. It holds the transmission in 3nd gear. This occurs at very random times. I have found that stopping the engine and waiting a minute then restarting the problem is resolved. I have noted that if you put the vehicle in gear quickly after starting the motor is a precursor to the problem but not all the time. Weird because of the random nature.
