Interesting. Could use longer electric range. But that electricity comes from somewhere, usually coal, gas, or oil fired plants so not sure just how environmental that is. Interesting idea. I would rather see a propane of LG/natural gas motor and tank system and see how that performs. Just my $0.02.

That's pretty cool! I hope they keep the offroad capability alive in their Hybrids.

What do you guys think?

I think that a LR/RR with even more electrical scares me a little bit. :p

But seriously, I would much rather they tweaked their diesel to make more power and sold that in the US. I'm not a huge fan of hybrid hype and batteries that cannot be recycled.
