I just bought some 20" stormer wheels and tires from a RR sport (take offs).
I am happy with the rim, however I want more tire.
The tire is 275/40/20

I had the 19" HSE wheels on before with 255/55/19's.

What is the biggest tire I can go??? Has anyone been in the same situation, or seen pictures of LR3's with 20" stormers?

Any input and pictures would greatly be appreciated!!!!!

and by the way....i am selling the 19" wheels and tires, as well as the 275/40/20 tires once i get new ones.....

275/45-20 is almost stock diameter
265/50-20 seems to be the official disco3.co.uk ideal size - no rubbing, but a half-inch bigger than OE diameter
275/55-20 is a very common tire size (Tahoe, Denali's) and many AT options, but most report they rub without modification - 32"

Note: disco3.co.uk also had a few threads regarding steering wheel vibration when running 20" wheels on an LR3. Nothing to be concerned about, but if you discover it, know that others have already riddled it through.

Ya, the 275/40/20 just seem to short and fat.
Have you seen pictures of other Lr3's with 20"s rims and the tire sizes you mentioned?

you may have to re-route your sensor wires to avoid chewing them up. There is some information about that, and tire sizing here.... http://lr3tips.wordpress.com/ The site is pretty much stagnant otherwise.

the picture of Ronp's wheels are not accurate compared to stock Land Rover wheels. He has aftermarket stormers with a smaller offset.

I know that. I have the same stormer wheels, and I'm trying to decide on tire size.
