Hi Guys,having problems with my 98 disco 300tdi auto. Have cured an air in fuel system problem recently & all was fine for a few days, then yesterday fueled up & now running lumpy on tickover, & when stationary if you build revs upto 2000-2250rpm again runs lumpy, also sometimes when pulling away at junctions it coughs & farts as if its going to stall.
Once on the move it drives fine without fault even when driven hard.
So far i have cleaned sedimenter, changed fuel filter & lift pump. These items were done in process of elimination to cure previous air in fuel problem.
Have fitted clear fuel pipe between pump & filter , there doesnt appear to be any air in system but symptoms are the same.
Would be greatful for any ideas.
