Question about "sensor arm mod." So, basically this mod allows you to go Extended mode on your command? How did you guys do that?

It's astounding how simple it happened, actually.

...but anyhow, not wanting to digress too much on this board, we were in Montreal at the LR Experience Driving School obviously. It was fun. I don't know that I'd pay (full price) for it, but there was an opportunity at the time as I was up there for work.

flysurfer,

The answer to your question is yes. Keep in mind that Access Height is gone though. So basically when you're in Normal height the EAS Computer thinks you're in Access; when you're in Offroad Height the computer thinks you're in Normal; and of course when you're in Extended Height it thinks that it's Offroad height.

It is accomplished by shortening the rubber/plastic arms that are attached on one side to the frame and the other to the Height Sensor. It is much-discussed on various forums and I'm learning that this approach is common to most other air-ride type suspensions.

Is this topic really THAT boring? I thought it would be fun to share pictures and descriptions of rigs so I could see what other owners are doing....NOBODY wants to play?

1. RS rock sliders
2. Rod Mod 11mm
3. Rasta front skid
4. Toyo Open Country 285/60-18
5. Rear tire carrier
6. Brownchurch roof rack
7. Rear Ladder

Cooper Zeon LTZ's (285/60/18)
Extra one underneath for a spare (deflated to fit)
Viair 440p (for airing up after airing down and filling spare)
Tow strap and 2 D-Shackles
Rover Specialties Sliders (stage 2)
Mantec Non-winch skid plate
Brownchurch roof rack (with Thule wind deflector on the front)
Rear Mud flaps (had to loose the front ones to install the sliders)
Rear Lamp Guards (the metal ones)
Side protection molding

Just for looks:
Clear side markers
Black Land Rover ovals front and back
Black ovals on the wheel center caps
Tinted front windows

Still wanted (someday):
Rear ladder
Hidden winch mount and winch
Rear underbody protection plates
Maybe a new sensor rod mod to get an extra inch or so of height. It's still standard height for now, which was good enough to do Lockwood Miller and Poughkeepsie, so maybe not.

Speaking of the sensor rod mod - would increasing the ride height reduce your side roll angle limit? As in...

Technically speaking yes it would. However 2" isn't much AND if you really sensed that you needed to lower your CG you can still lower the vehicle as low as stock Normal Height and creep to on-camber ground.
