I replaced the master cylinder and topped off the fluid...used the shop manuals instructions to pump slowly 5 times wait 10 seconds and repeat till firm...well...just like she said..'it ain't getting hard!' The pedal feels odd...about 3/4 the way down it kinda gives and goes to the floor...not firm at all but more firm for the first 3/4. Should the cap be on the reservoir?...I tried both ways...and I did the procedure 5 times.
