i have a 96 ldiscovery,it has 265/75/16 for tires,full rack ,arb bumper,lights ect.it has 123,000 miles runs great .what i would like to know is if i cut the cat's off and build an exuast system,it already has a k&n filter.we the cpu goes into full rich mode will it all balance out and have more power or will it just suck the gas.the reason i ask is my cat's are bad and need replaced.

removing the cats will not give you more power by any means... you can rechip the ECU and this will help, but if you really want more power, I recommend a 4.6 upgrade.
