Anyone done one yet? Is the process any different than with the 2010-2013 models?

Looking at a 2014 but prefer to do at home maintenance and this could be a turn off if it is not as easy as the V8.

Umberto posted a DIY for the 2010-2013. Should be exactly the same. Do a quick search of the forum.

I have seen Umberto's video and thats where I am hoping someone who has a 2014 can confirm the convenience. Of course this was before I got an e-mail from my local dealership that they just got a 2014 in. So if no one has any feedback I will look at it this weekend and report back.

Just verify the amount of oil and part number for the filter. Everything else should be the same.

So the process should be the same with the pump system? This is more of my question. I don't want to have to remove skid plates and all sorts of stuff every time I need to change the oil.

Test drove a 2014 LR4 today and looked at the engine. The oil pour spot does have the tube coming out of it like the NAV8. I would assume the process is the same based on this.

Great idea in DYI - Dealer just ripped me a new one for an oil change; I've never paid so much for service and why it took 3 hours I never know.

BMW 4/50 service wonderful indeed!

Getting ready for 1100 mile road trip pulling U-Haul from Dallas to Charleston SC. Unload/drop off U-Haul and spend time with family. On Sunday off to Cincinnati. Should rack up just shy of 2k.
