Well I have decided to attempt you intake modification but I noticed there is a hose connected to the factory intake just past the accordian part of the intake. Right before the throttle body housing. What did you do to compensate for this?

I put in a breather for the valve cover. Put they do sell a tube connection kit for it. You'll have to drill a hole and install a ****** so the hose can go in the same place.
