The guys over at Rover Racks have come out with some new sliders for the LR3/4.

Here's the specs:

Made from 3/16" Carbon Steel, with the option of getting them galvanized for $100 more.

They cost $899 and you can add side steps for $199 or $299 (Galvanized).

Now, here's the cool part I learned after emailing them and I quote:

"No drilling is required, they protect the compressor tank, and they can support the entire weight of the truck... "

Here are a couple pics:

(There is a plate that goes in conjunction with the sliders to protect the compressor, not shown here though)

*And I just wanted to say I have no official affiliation with Rover Racks, just a satisfied customer trying to help out some cool guys get some more options on the market.

Looks interesting . . .
Is that your vehicle w/them?
Is the compressor plate extra?
Do the sliders bolt to the frame or the sill?

Looks like a good design. Price is not too shabby either.

So up to $1399, plus the compressor skid? Not bad. I like the fact that there are more options.

Not my truck, got the pics directly from Rover Racks.

I believe the plate is included, that's just an older picture before they installed the plate.

It looks to me like they bolt to the frame, which i believe is what allows them to support the whole weight of the truck.

No I don't think so. The frame sits inboard another 6 or 8 inches. These sliders bolt only to the sills, where the factory KIT running boards and nerf bars attach.

And my bad, the frame is obviously bare in the picture, they may bolt the skid to the frame though.
