Hi guys and girls. Does anyone know about oil separator or catch can on 2016 LR4 SCV6? I'm looking to install one on my LR but I don't know if is a good idea. But I try to research on it for LR4 but is not so much information about it. Anyone has one installed?

I see many post regarding issues on engine poor performance and etc. That I am wondering that might be a direct injection system.

So, any thoughts about this issue are welcome.

Thank you in advance

I looked into this awhile ago. Definitely a rabbit hole of information. Seems like it would be a good idea, if anything to keep the carbon build up lower on the back of the valves due to the direct injection.

I don't think I got past finding a good catch can option. No even sure where I would put one. If anyone does have info on this it would be great to hear about.

I have one on my bmw which has the n54 inline 6 twin turbo. Supposedly helps with that build up. Had the valves and such walnut blasted few yrs back then added the catch.

It’s a common thing though on that turbo motor
