random damaged tyre

guys so I realised my front right tyre has got some weird damage, it certainly doesn't look like wear to me, the weird thing is that only that one tyre has it, the other 3 are absolutely good, what do you think, have I got a lemon? or do I go offoad too much. The set is rather new, wear indicators are still perfect

It looks like you hit a rock. This is why I got away from the Goodyears that came on the LR and with with Nitto. I always get road hazard when buying tires.

hahaha I do! and some trails are rather rough being only rocks, no soil or sand. I am quite amazed of what the 3 can manage to do on those tyres...

That is a safe assumption. If you think the LR3 is impressive now...just wait until you get some more capable tread on it! It's night 'n day.

I destroyed my OE Mich Lat's like that from the tires spinning so much climbing long gravel ascents. As said, going to AT's - even Pirelli ATR's, made a huge difference in not only traction by also durability.
