We have a problem with the electronic parking brake which has been diagnosed as being the control module although no code displayed, anyone got any advise on how to go about replacing it. Apparently there is a mechanical release facility but i cannot find it, no mention of it in the owners manual ? Any advise welcome. Thanks

What normally goes bad on the land rover/jaguar parking brake http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/LR019223G you can find it cheaper some places, but the reality is, it isn't cheap and there is discussion one way or the other as to what causes it to fail. Using it or not is the main thing.

Releasing it involves replacing or at least taking it apart.
