Anyone else have a problem with the paint peeling on the rear bumper? I have a 2005 LR3 HSE that is no longer under warranty. I'm sure it was caused by someone backing into me but I'm not wanting to drop the money on the high deductible I set on the vehicle. I thought I would just paint it myself but I was wondering if anyone else has tried this. Thoughts?:bandit:

In 05 the rear bumper was not factory painted. Could just be a crappy paint job!

Like Ryan said, the rear bumper was unpainted black plastic in 2005. If yours is body color, then someone painted it. Painting on plastic requires some flex additives in the paint, or it will crack.

Probably not a DIY job if you have no prior experience.
