I will add that you save the suspension calibration file so I have one for stock and one for offroad, you load it up when you want it. It takes about 2 minutes once you are hooked up which takes less than minute to do not counting computer boot time. I usually do it as I am airing down and done before my tires are aired down with my stauns.

You also have complete control over each airbag so you can raise or defalte any one bag regardless of the sensor not on the fly but if you get a problem you can bypass the system. I havn't tested it fully but you can also turn off the suspension ECU and just inflate all the bags.

That sounds pretty awesome...great piece of kit.

I'm prolly a ways off before I can get one....I'm over my annual allowable for Rover toys. Who knows, maybe by the time I'm ready the price will have come down or I could maybe find a used one for cheap by then! Maybe YOURS, Scott! ...like if you've moved on to the Super Faultmate by then! :)

Update-
Houm WA : It does it do it on doing both highway and backroad speeds.

Have replaced the brake switch, transfer module, and a brake sensor with no luck.
$800 gone with the same problem occuring every other time I get in the truck.

Battery and Alt. both check out on the dealer visit.

Any ideas what else would be causing these issues?

I had the same problem with my 2005 LR3 SE last year and it was the clock springs in my steering column. My dealer thought it was the battery too, but it continued to happen after it was replaced. I took it to a Rover specialist in LA and he noticed an irregular power signature or something in my steering. Guess I had wires or something possibly touching and causing all of those faults I was getting. When I took it back to the dealer (since I was still under warranty) and mentioned the diagnostic, they took another look, replaced the clock springs and everything has been fine since.

Good luck!

I'm not sure if this is a new one or not, but I just made a trip down to Portland and while on I-5, driving at regular interstate speeds (~60mph) in D, I got the following messages/faults:

-HDC unavailable
-Suspension Lowered
-System Fault: Special Programs unavailable.

The amber icons were illuminated as follows: Brake light, suspension icon, DSC icon.

I cannot think of anything unusual as far as conditions. My wife did drive the LR3 on Friday and accidentally left the parking lights on for about an hour. The fault occured twice on the way down to Portland (I pulled over, re-booted and it cleared, then occured again about 10 minutes later). ...and it happened today on the ride home.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Ever get a diagnosis?

Any information is appreciated.

:help:

I had the same exact symptoms but with an extra!! the steering wheel was slightly swinging to the right while driving straight (about 1 O' clock), after lots of research on the web, took it for a front end alignment, the problem was solved, I didn't even have to recalibrate the steering angle sensor.

Loose battery terminals did this on mine...a lot of off-roading. FYI be aware if you do go off road a lot, the plastic upper radiator mounts break.
