Roof rack pics, recommendations for 2009 LR3....

Anyone have pics of their roof rack?

Did you buy the ones available from Land Rover or did you buy another brand?

I saw a nice looking Thule rack on a different SUV. Had the rugged, but functional look I need/want.

My set up has always been with Yakima. I run 2 bike mounts on each side and have space for a box, surfboards, and kayaks in the middle. The fairing does a great job by reducing the deep buffer sound from the wind going under the front bar. There is some noise with the sunroof open but not nearly as bad w/o the fairing.

If you are looking to do expedition traveling for fuel cans, tent, etc and need a flat surface, consider a Baja or other type that has a flat surface to mount your travel up there...

What do you want to do with the rack? Bikes & kayaks? Camping gear?

I bought a Baja rack & have generally been happy with it, its probably better suited for camping or overlanding though. Over **** for transporting bikes.
