So when i engaged my cruise control today i was doing about 60kh and it starts and then the car ever so slowly starts to loose speed, at first i thought i was getting a little tired but i watched the spedo and ever so slowly it slows down. Also i dont seem to be able to increase the actuall speed with the switch, the resume button still works but it slows down again once you get back up to your intial speed.
Any ideas anyone?
(its on a D2)

Try checking the hoses that run to the crusie control unit. They seem to get leaks. If they are cracked replace them. I got the hose from NAPA for less than $2.

I agree with webbie, sounds like a vacuum leak.

Vacuum starts at the pump just behind the drivers headlight (almost under the jack) (usa Driver) the vacuum line runs to a 'T' at the firewall, then one side goes through the firewall to the brake switch on the pedal, the other side goes to the Cruise.
