starting issue

Most times it would not turn at all. I sit for a while and it would turn slowly once. Thats about the time I got the burning smell.

Starter sounds like it is going bad. Pull it and have it tested.

per my mechanic, the altenator is bad. We'll see

with a new battery, and it doesn't start, I still say starter. The alt may be bad too, but that would cause issues after you start.

Turns out the problem is a bad ground wire. Go figure.
