Based on experience, I would say get the transmission fluid and filter change done at a good Indi shop, my truck is at 230K miles now, and I had the service done at 176K miles and that was the first time the transmission was opened. And everything looked fine, I had it done for my piece mind more than anything else. Don't need to change solenoids if you don't have any shifting issues.
And I am confused about the "water in the transfer case" statement, you should be able to notice some wining, noise or other indication if the transfer case is full of water, I would get a second opinion on that from a Land rover/Jaguar indi shop. If you want to change out the fluids, Atlantic British should have some nice tutorials on how to.
Good luck.
