Tree Sap removal?

Has any one got any good tips on removing the sticky stuff cause ive got a bunch of it on my hood?
I had heard something about wd-40 but maybe it was for something else...

kerosene is pretty good of' fashion remedy. wd40 would probably work. Gas does too. Just have a soapy rag and wash it off quickly to not harm the paint.

i work in a body shop you can use paint thinner with no problems,or you can use tar remover.just wash the car when you are done then put some wax on
