Has anyone done the valve cover gaskets on a 4 liter V8?
It looks like it would really, really suck.
Seems like a lot of things need to come of - plenum chamber being the worst.
Any tips/tricks?
TIA!!!

There's not much to take off on the right side of the engine. That's the easy side, yes. The plenum does have to come off, but it's not that bad. Mine seemed stuck on pretty well, but after a little convincing it came off fine. And it gave me an opportunity to clean out the buildup on the inside of the plenum/throttle body. I'd say it ran better after I cleaned it out very well.

The throttle springs are kind of a pain, don't lose them when you take them off, and make sure you know which ones go where. Other than that, it's quite simple.
