what cheap ways to inc HP 96' disco

im intrested in buying a 96' disco but im not entirely happy with the HP. (it being about 182 from what i understand) what are some cheap ways to increase the hp on this beast. cheap is in not arm and a leg stuff. thanks

You won't get much for cheap. If you can give us a clue as to your $ limit, it will give us a better guide on advising on what you can do.

The common upgrades like intake/exhaust, new plugs/wires, and all that won't bring you much above 200 hp. The rover is not going to be a muscle truck unless you go with an engine swap and supercharger, that is disco1's field. However it will drive comfortably at 75-80mph. But if you are important enough people will wait, as the saying goes. Main reason the rover is so slow is because of the weight, so your other alternative is to remove all the doors, bumpers, rear seats, etc. But I haven't seen anyone try it yet
