What Is Wrong With It?

1997 Landrover Discovery 4.0 Automatic After It Sets A Couple Hours
It Run Strong For About 2 To 3 Miles Then Its Like A Switch Is Thrown
And It Spits And Sputters Like There Is Water In The Fuel!
Does Same Thing Every Time I Drive It! Does Any Body Know What Is Wrong With It?

Could be anything from a bad VSS to a bad ground going to the ECU....

More info would be nice.

Last tune up, type of plugs and wires, have you changed the fuel filter, have you tested fuel pressure at the fuel rail?

I agree, along with a failing pump, failing fuel pump circuit breaker and or a dirty fuel filter.
What have you checked, when was it last tuned and what was done?
