The check engine light went out so no current code. Re: the engine flush - he said that sometimes the V8's that either a) don't have their oil changed enough, or b) are driven gently can accumulate some oil sludge in the in and around the valves which can cause issues under heavy acceleration. -

I have a 2012 LR4 with about 70k on it. I drive it like a grandma most of the time, but the other day I had to give it beans from a standstill while getting on the highway with a short onramp. I hit about 5k RPM in 2nd gear when I suddenly lost power and a decent sized puff of smoke was... -

3 blissful weeks with my meticulously maintained ‘15 LR4 and then dread.
I had a similar issue, however it did not resolve with a simple on/off. One of the high-pressure fuel pumps malfunctioned and put the truck into "limp mode" It was about $1500 to replace both pumps. I use a private Rover mechanic and he recommends a fuel system cleaner every 5k miles or so. -

LR4 wiper noise
@vindio How did you adjust the travel on the front wipers? I have the same "cracking" problem but its from the wiper hitting the windshield gasket. Thanks!
