Why does this keep coming off

Steal of a deal on an LR4 with issues
The Atlantic British replacement kit works great...just need time, patience, and a set of 4 ramps to lift the entire vehicle up (or a hoist). I've done the job a couple of times and it really isn't that bad...4-5 hour job and then half a bottle of shampoo to get the ATF out of my hair. -

2011 LR4 Transmission TCM failure
Fixed! Only cost me $100 for the electronics out of a junk transmission and about 5 hours of time…plus shampoo to get the transmission fluid out of my hair. According to ZF-USA the ribbon cable from the Hall-Effect sensor cracks and was almost certainly the roof cause of my problem. 2.5 years... -

Heated windshields
Most multimeters only support up to 10A and the windshield pulls a full 30A so will just pop the fuse in the multimeter. Instead I would check voltage between the two leads in the A pillars. At the same time disconnect one of the leads and measure the resistance between the two windshield... -

Towing Questions.
Reviving an old(ish) thread...why not just plug the Redarc (or any other trailer brake controller) into the Ford spec plug intended for this that is above the brake pedal? Maybe the Aussie models don't have this plug? It seems suspicious to add wiring when JLR provided a plug for this... -
