Honestly, I don't think you want that list. The quickest/easiest/cheapest is to go to an autoparts store and ask them to check your truck. I don't think anyone will charge you to run the scanner. -

It's to fix the problem that I started this thread with. Rough idle and a check engine light that I used a scanner to tell me what was wrong. I don't have a problem with my rear air vents. There are many things that can cause a light to come on. You shouldn't assume it's a thermostat... -

My '05 LR3 HSE had 3 Torx screws holding in together and it was the gasket. I took it apart in about 6 minutes last night and the new one should be in today. I was so tempted to put it back together after putting the seal back where it was supposed to be, but I held off. -

Great! Thanks so much for helping me. I pulled the big plastic cover off last night and it looks pretty easy to change. The part should be in tomorrow and I'll get to fixin'. Glad I didn't trade in the Bonneville yet! Thanks again, Dan. -
