Anyways, forget about the radio, I'll have to get the unlock code from a dealership since there is no "code card" in our paperwork. Funny this is the first time it happens after 8 years of ownership. My code reset question remains though ^^^^^ -

Well, I got all O2 sensors done. On the front right I didn't even attemt to get to the socket which is buried, so I cut the wires and used my own connections. Does/should the engine light ever turn off by it self or do I have to take it in to a dealership? By replacing the sensors I have... -

I got 3 of 4 done. OMG, to get to the sockets so you can unplug them. the front left was a pain and the front right (only one remaining) you can barely even see and you got to get both hands down there to disconnect? Could you loosen the "bridge" that the coils are mounted on and there for... -

On a 98 disco, replacing trans. filter and fluid, is that something I could tackle myself? I'm guessing you drop the pan replace gasket, is the filter right inside? and refill. It's been a long time since service was done soo I would like to do it twice with shorth succession like people... -

A friend of mine is the editor for a 4 wheel mag in sweden and he said that it's good to have the exaust hot while trying to loosen, hm make sense I guess but I never would have thougt of it. -

When the shop diagnos says downstream sensors I suppose they refere to the rear ones. Do they take metric and what size btw? I got slight surface rust even in CA. I sprayed wd40 but they do seem pretty stuck. Are the sensors the exactly the same for front and rear? -

Thank's for the advice guys. I'm about to degrease the engine compartment as well as underneath and have a closer look, maybe paint thinner will cut all that grease, ha ha. Are there 2 or 4 O2 sensors btw? -
