2016 fuel pump failure after fuel tank flange recall

Our 2015 LR4 was having its 100,000k service and they called to describe the recall and said 2 of the 4 tabs on the pump we gone and was showing damage as though it was hit but none to the tank. They recommended a new pump and given the mileage I paid for a new pump. Not sure what happened to...

Another LR4 Saved from Coolant Death

I just used my dealer warranty for the first time with what I was told was 2 weeks remaining (win). I'd just had a service and long trip prep the week before a 10 hour trip and mentioned having to add coolant a couple times recently and to check for leaks. I was going on a 10 hour trip. After...

There she blows, (maybe coolant crossover)

Long story short, I had a significant coolant...

    Definitive roof rack thread?

Here are a couple more if you are interested. Roof Rack I made for an LR4 using 80/20 T slot aluminum (img 3). Note the 90 deg brackets at all 4 corners. This shows mounting brackets are black 80/20 open triangles to connect the factory full length roof track to the 80/20 T slot. The...

    Definitive roof rack thread?

Roof Rack for LR4 I made from black anodized 80/20 T slot aluminium. Another view showing the anti-slip tread from 80/20 note the 1998 Discovery (series 1) in the background.

    Definitive roof rack thread?

I built my own using black anodized T-slot aluminum. It looks great and wife approved, the dealership liked it as well. No welding or drilling. I used the T-slot brackets to assemble the whole thing. It's strong and low profile as well. I'll get a picture if you want to see it.
