Now we talking. How you like your BCM?
For the ARB bumper I wouldn't see why not but call the guys with ARB USA to double check. I can send you the install manual if you want to review this as well.
Thanks so much for the kind feedback. Means a lot! Simply a pure hobbyist but a big passion of mine I want to dive into more. Picked up my first digital camera over the holidays and been shooting ever since. Big change from shooting with the iPhone even though the iPhone can take great photos.
Spring is short lived here in Louisiana but nice to capture a few shots just after daybreak. It's been dry here but still plenty of great riding. Loving the truck as well. Thanks to all for the great feedback as well.
Good morning stretch over a cypress tree - even picked up some Spanish...
Here's a video I found online showing you how to remove the vents.
As you can see it requires a bit of force and like someone said some bruising along the way. LR4 definitely doesn't have a shortage of plastic bits that are hard to remove without being able to reinstall them but the vents...
One of the items I wanted to do was blackout of the raised portion of the hood. There are a few people out there that have created these; however, they do not cover the sides of the raised portion on the hood. I asked if they would change this and got a why would you do this as we've never had...
I was sold on the ARB long before I came across the Tactical Bumper. I believe the Tactical gives you better angles for off road but for my use the ARB will be more than enough. The fit and finish is top notch and looks like it just fits the truck but then I'm impressed with the Tactical items...
On the spare tire @Finlayforprez nailed it on the head. There's no way to stick a new 18" wheel and tire underneath without airing down nor do I really need to have 2 complete spares. I had the 19" laying around where it made sense to throw it back underneath for the added protection.
For...
SUMMARY:
Overall I’m quite pleased and impressed in how everything came out despite the gaps on the bumper. Handling with all the weight has been negligible; however, I do notice the pump has to work a bit harder to get everything back in place on the suspension. One thing I don’t want to do...
Plasti-Dip (Wheel Flares)
As I had the rear flares off for the bumper install I opted to go ahead with the plasti-dip. I actually went 2 weeks with just the rear flares painted as I was waiting on some key parts for the ARB bumper to show up that wasn’t accounted for in the original order. It...
Tactical Rovers Rear Bumper w/ Tire Carrier (and side steps)
First to install was the rear bumper. First impressions was quality pit of kit with some great welds/seems. Bumper was expected with weight but wow the sliders are quite heavy. To remove the rear bumper was quite easy. I opted to...
Quick introduction: My name is Christopher where I live in Louisiana just south of New Orleans; however, for the past 5 years I’ve been in Europe - UK to be exact just outside of London. I was lucky enough to have a new Defender 110 with the company while there but because of the import rules...
I'm in the middle of installing the ARB bumper to my 2016 LR4 with the ARB Intensity Lights. Testing the lights before final install tomorrow I can't get the ARB lights to come on. I set them up for positive switching but thinking maybe the truck is set up for negative switching? I have power...
