Best way to clean out sunroof drains
I use weedwacker cord as mentioned above. I‘ve also observed a dealership service center using warm water heated up in a kettle. -

Underbody splash shields...

Actually the gorilla lugs are solid without a decorative cap. So they are different than the OEs. -

I replaced all of my lug nuts with the black gorilla lugs listed above. I have silver wheels and they look fine. But you might have a different look in mind. At least 1-2 of the original tin capped lugs on each wheel were shot so I replaced the full lot. No problems. Fit is the same as OE. -

Shaking and clunking
I had the same experience with my 2012 LR4 last year. Car had about 130k miles at the time. My control arms had been replaced several times and were in good shape. The violent shake only occurred at highway speeds and at first was less severe under very hard braking. I replaced the rotors... -

Nokian WR G4
I have more than one LR so have tried several tires. Had the wrg3 and 4s. Great tires. Not the best tread life but that comes with the type of tire. I just installed the Vredestein Quadtrac Pro on my LR4. 255 55 19s. So far so good. Check them out. -

Manual & Oil Change
I had similar problems on LR3 and LR4. Those skid plate bolts are open to the elements and get rusted quickly. I ended up cutting them with a cut-off wheel. Actually cut a portion of the head off so I could clamp on with a vice grip. I installed new bolts and globbed on a bunch of anti-seize. -

LR4 suddenly won't start/crank. Even with fully charged battery and/or jump
Agreed. I keep a spare brake light switch in the car just in case. Not an expensive part to carry. -

tires for LR4
Nokia WRG3 SUV. Live in Chicago and Utah so they work great in the snow, highway and mountains. They seem to have shorter treadlife than the K02s I run on an LR3 but traction is great. But I am not really surprised. -

Chicago Indy Shops?
Not downtown but consider Imports Unlimited on Route 41 in Highland Park. Honest shop with deep LR experience. Ask for Ted. Downside is that they are not open on the weekends.
