Regarding the electronic oil level indicator, even though there are 8 marks on the scale, judging from what happens when "topping-up", per the manual, it appears to represent only about a quart of oil. -

That's a shock that they might still be selling that old 'recalled' part design. Seems irresponsible and loaded with liability. Thanks for posting. Mine was done by the JLR dealer, and it seems all good. I didn't realize that the flange and filter are now separate parts. -

Same here. Over two years now with a dead stop/start battery. The working stop/start function annoys me way more than the warning light. No strange electrical probs as yet, or corrosion, but I should probably get it out of there. Or give in and replace it and go back to turning it off every time... -

2016 LR4 Original Owner. 75k. Thinking about selling, but not sure of alternative rides that can do everything this does.
P400 or the 4 banger? If a 400 at 700 lbs lighter, 395 HP and 400+ ft lbs. ; also at 6 secs 0-60...hate to say it but it probably would've been "Hasta La Vista, Baby". -

Going to have to do that soon. The 'sand pitting' from desert driving is becoming 'annoying'. Cost? Ins. claim, or out of pocket?
