Fan and lean codes
I have had the same code in past and found cleaning the sensors works. I did have a lean code at xmas time and found a cracked hard plastic vaccum line. Look for any leaks with a spray bolt and see if the idle changes. -

Door Adjustment
How to adjust door up (drivers door) to align with rear door. Door is down approximately 1/8". I am looking for a short cut with out removing front fender to get to the hinge hardware. Is there a ****** washer between top and bottom portion of hinge? -

2012 HSE 5.0 V8 Engine Rattle
If the engine quiets under a load then the valves have adjusted back as far as possible and the slop in chain is minimized. The tensioner arms are probably worn deep and allows chain to rattle under light loads. -

LR4 Binding Brakes
I have the same issue and have replaced everything, I am going to flush master cylinder and see if the left front port has debris or a bad seal. I may also look for a TSB with the brake pulling to one side -

Can anyone identify this slow ticking noise?
Mine does that also and if you go to buy one there is a statement that these clutches tick for about 3 minutes. It could be normal. Does the fan free spin with a slight drag? -

MAF issues, reduced performance
Had a similar issue but the advice of running rich on one side and lean on another. I cleaned MAF both sides and Throttle body and added BG gas treatment. Ran a week on one tank of gas and the readings dropped to normal within range for both bank 1 bank 2. Possible dirty sensors or... -

2016 LR4 - Rough idle but only when warm; worse when vehicle in reverse
The up stream and down stream O2s compares what is going into Cat. and what is coming out. There is some value the vehicle is set at. This may tell you if the Cat. is clogged or damaged. -

I have a couple of quotes, one to fill in the area with vinyl liquid $200 and a second for re-vinyl the surface $350. Timing chain - advice - sigh
Your chain looks fine, my engine is noisy also. The fuel pump makes most of the noise and the injectors, well I have seen quieter ones (2000 Isuzu Trooper). -

I only have a fax report so it appears maybe they followed the once a year change by Land rover. It makes since because most engines use 4.5 quarts w filter so Land rover double the capacity and the oil filter appears to be much larger than an equivalent cartridge filter. -

Timing parts purchased are quite different
The angle of contact was changed by land rover due to the initial engineering design flaw with the tensioner arm. I bought a set of LR and they are stamped FOMOC Ford motor corp. As to the quality, you may get a good part. I have experienced that some of LR parts are of questionable quality... -

Oh yeah, you might want to have them check the rear steel brake lines for rusting out at the frame mounting point. I recently replaced the 2 front calipers due to a sticking issue which caused the car to pull heavily to the left above speeds of 65 mph only during raining condition, weird. But... -

This sounds reasonable price for all of the work. I was quoted $9k just for the chain guide job in Richmond Va. Another shop thru a forum member gave me a shop and they wants $7k. I have purchased all of the parts, special tools and will be doing the job myself, minus replacing the VVT...
