Price for 2year Service and rear brakes
My second year service was just under $500. I recently sold my 2011 LR4 with 31.6K miles on it and it was most likely going to need some form of brake work done but that was not confirmed as I sold it prior to having my third year service performed. 17k does seem awfully early for brake work...- LRnewbie11

Everytime I see another LR4 on the road I always wonder if they have the rattles and squeaks that mine does.:frown: If yours is that quiet I would say you are lucky.- LRnewbie11

You know if I did have a complaint about the LR4 is the rattles and squeaks. My wife thinks I'm nuts but it drives me crazy if I hear a rattle or squeak. I did notice that the GX was like a vault inside.- LRnewbie11

LIMITED inventory
I had a sales guide tell me something similar a few weeks ago. He didn't give a specific number but did indicate that LR was producing as many LR4s as in previous years. I just thought he was giving me a line to make me want to get one right away as they had ONE on the lot at the time.- LRnewbie11

Anybody else frustrated with the egregiously limited inventory of 2014's right now? I've been looking at every dealership from Philadelphia to Richmond, VA. They either none or one or two. I would say 90% of them are Black/Black. Ugh! Is this normal? I don't remember new MY's trickling out...- LRnewbie11

Used tires? Now that is something I had not thought of for this situation. I will definitely look into that for sure. As for the brakes I was lucky in that last year I was told they were "still in the green" as far as measurements go or however they evaluate them. So I have not had any work...- LRnewbie11

Disabling 2014 ECO Switch

Two problems, one fix!
Had to have my windshield replaced for a third time in 4 months! Basically got a rock chip that quickly spread into a 2' crack. Had Safelite replace it. Rattle near steering column
Rattles in a vehicle drive me absolutely crazy!! Especially in "luxury" vehicles. I had to have the left rear seat in my LR4 replaced because of a rattle and now there is a constant high pitched squeaking noise while driving at highway speeds.
