Recently the steering on my 15 LR4 seems to be tougher to turn , the power steering seems to be fine and there is no "buzzing" noises associated with low fluid.
Has anyone had this feeling before?
Thanks in advance!
Looks like you have received the right advice here , a good test of your garage is they would have told you to do the cross over pipes at the same time as the water pump as the the intake has to come off to do those pipes and BTW do not use the OEM ones as they are plastic. There is a 3rd party...
To be honest Loowee no I havent solved it yet. I did invest in a special filter sold by LR but it appears it only applies to LR-4 prior to 2014 . I just bought the Gap IID tool so I think with that I will be able to see more of what is going on.
that seems to be clear. I guess its more of a camera issue. One of my mirror cams isnt working either, strange that both would go out at the same time.
Thanks, this isn't at all what is under the drivers seat in my LR4 . I have only the square connectors like the one I posted earlier
Mine is not as salty as this one I found online for reference only.
trying to post the pics, I have ended up still with 2 different coax connectors . One square ( multi cam box under seat ) and one round (equalizer) connector so I don't see how to swap them. Both are crimped and soldered .
hmmm
As you mentioned the clip pops off but there is a little pry up on a small bar underneath that unlocks the blue connector. Now onto the camera connector I hope it removes easily
I wonder if I have to somehow pry off the original connect as this guy did in his volvo https://www.swedespeed.com/threads/need-help-installing-equalizer-to-backup-cam.475945/
I saw that but the connectors on the module are not the same as the equalizer, I have seen this is the case in Volvo's too. I suspect they are to be installed else where. I've looked in the rear hatch, quarter panels to no avail.
Hello again,
Does anyone know where the equalizers are to be installed? I bought one for the rear camera and I've scoured the internet looking for this info. Appreciate in advance.
